Nude swimming in Stockholm metropolitan area

Meet with some one who love to swim nude with you.

TIP #1 • Stockholm/Långholmen. Nude swimming close to Stockholm downtown. Thrilling spontaneous naturist rocky shore of Lake Mälaren south of the city centre. Lots of people, even late in hot summer nights. The place does not have any conveniences.

Find it: Subway to Hornstull, bus 54 to Högalidsgatan or bus 40 or 66 to Bergsundsstrand. Parking about 200 meters from the beach. 10 minutes walk from the subway and bus. Detailed map at hitta.se:

TIP #2 • Stockholm/Svärdsön. Nude beach at the Baltic Sea. Spontaneous naturist beach on the rocky shore of Erstaviken, south of Saltsjöbaden. Swimming area has no amenities. Rubbish bins and toilets at the small shipyard a couple of hundred meters from the beach.

Find it: Saltsjöbanan from Slussen to Solsidan or the bus in direction Algö on to Svärdsön. A short walk from the shipyard to the beach. You can also park your car at the shipyard.Detailed map of hitta.se:

TIP #3 • Stockholm/Ågesta. An official nude beach is located on the south side of Magelungen not far from Farsta and Södertörn. Swimming area is owned and operated by the Stockholm Municipality. Nice sandy beach. Here are all the amenities you could ask for: barbeque with table and fixed benches, drinking water, toilets and trashcans.

Find it: Lake Maglungen south of Farsta. Follow Vidjavägen and Bonäsvägen. Parking hundred meters from the beach. Walking distance from nearest subway stop Farsta Strand.

TIP #4 • Åkersberga/Breviksbadet. Swim naked in Breviksbadet, an official naturist site in the Baltic Sea five kilometres east of Åkersberga. Swimming area is owned and operated by Österåkers municipality. A few rocks and a small sandy beach close to an otherwise textile beach. No drinking water, but you will find toilets and garbage can.

Find it: Signs “Breviksbadet” along the road will show you how to find the beach. Car parking 250 meters walking distance from the beach. The nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes away.

TIP #5 • Stockholm/Kärsön. Spontaneous nude swimming in the northern part of Kärsön in Mälaren, close the Drottningholm royal palace. Probably you won’t meet the King of Sweden or his lovely daughters on this partly rocky beach, not suitable for young children. No toilets, trash cans or drinking water is available.

Find it: Bus from Brommaplan towards Drottningholm to Brostugan at Kärsön. There is also parking at the coffee shop Brostugan. Nudity starts one kilometre north of Brostugan.

TIP #6 • Södertälje/Lövnäsbadet. An official nude beach at Lake Yngern south of Nykvarn, 18 kilometres west of Södertälje. Operated by Södertälje municipality. The beach is divided in a textile and a nude beach. The beach is well suited for the whole family. Toilets available but no drinking water.

Find it: Approximately 150 meters from the car park to the beach. Bus stop 5 minutes from the bath.

TIP #7 • Stockholm/PG’s Udde. There are two spontaneous nude beaches at Källtorpssjön in Nacka, None of the places are suited for small children. Both Källtorpsbdet in the southeast part of the lake and PG’s Udde in the northern part are surrounded by rocks.

Find it: Bus from Slussen to Hellasgården, five minutes walking from there.

TIP #8 • Stockholm/Brunnsviken. Brunnsviken is a spontaneous naturist site, close to the Botanic Institution at Stockholm University. Rocky terraced beach, not suitable for children. No toilets or other amenities what so ever.

Find it: Subway or Roslagsbanan to the University or bus from Odenplan. Then five to ten minute walk. Parking space five minutes walk from the beach.

TIP #9 • Nacka/Glasbruksudden. Glasbrukssjön in Nacka is a spontaneous naturist site in the northwestern part of the lake. Cliffs surround the bath and it is not very child friendly, also lacking all amenities such as toilets, trash cans and drinking water.

Find it: Bus 444, 446 or 422 from Slussen. In Björknäs center, change to bus 413 and go to the last stop Strömvägen. By car you can go Talluddsvägen from Centralplan eastbound to Skurusund. You have approximately 500 meters to walk from the parking lot or bus stop.

TIP #10 • Södertälje/Tullan. Tullan is a lake northwest of Södertälje. Nude swimming area is located in the northern end of the lake. No conveniences.

Find it: Bus 760 or 761 from Södertälje Centrum to bus stop Morabergsvägen, where you have to walk towards Kolbotten. After e few hundred meter follow the path to right of a field and into the woods. At the lake, walk south. The entire walk takes fifteen minutes.

TIP #11 • Öregrund/Tallparksbadet. On Tallparksbadet close to Öregrund, the naturists enjoy the sun on soft cliffs and a small sandy beach in the beautiful scenery. "If I can swim without clothes in the sea, I am satisfied. And Tallparksbadet is the best" a satisfied questionnaire responded in an Uppsala newspaper article.

Find it: Turn at the tennis courts at the entrance to Öregrund. A short walk from the parking lot.

TIP #12 • Uppsala/Ramsen. Naturist swimming in Lake Ramsen is a favourite of for many nude swimmers in and around Uppsala. Fresh water, beautiful nature. An extra plus for the sauna boat for six persons, which can be hired for, secluded adventures on the lake.

Find it: Ramsen is located fifteen kilometres east of Uppsala. Road 282 from Uppsala towards Almunge until you reach Fjällnora youth center and the car park there. From here you have to walk for half a kilometre to the nudist beach, located south of the youth center.
